COME ON!

Come On! (2008) was a collaborative project with post-graduate students from Kingston University and the support of the Shanghai University for Fine Art. It was developed as a project to repair public furniture for the people of CaoYang district in Shanghai, with the artists producing a series of art works to present at an opening ceremony. These included short films and television adverts, a catalogue, a 'festival bag', a projection screen, bunting and various emphemera to dress the public square. A collection of this was retained and stored within the local community centre, as a 'festival-in-a-box'.

A book documenting the project has been published by Shanghai University for Fine Art, edited and with essays by Dave Loder.
